President Hotel South Beach

I just stayed at the President Hotel in a king bed with balcony. Great week in Miami Beach from Detroit. The location is great, the hotel fit my budget and having the breakfast is fantastic. The staff was very accommodating. They allowed me to keep my luggage there after checkout until it was time for me to leave for the airport. It was overall a very good vacation and the President Hotel offered everything I needed. The one thing I would change is making the pool consistently heated, the pool felt too cold when I went in it today, though it felt warmer a few days ago. I have stayed at the Penguin Hotel in the past and also felt the the pool was cold back then too

We enjoyed our stay at the Presidential Villa. This hotel is conveniently located in South Beach, near most of the main attractions. Our room and bathroom were clean, and the breakfast options were good. Having access to beach towels is a great convenience. I want to recognize Zel and Henry along with the rest of their staff for providing excellent customer service. They even checked us in earlier. We had a small hiccup that was quickly resolved and the staff made sure to accommodate us for it, which is greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting.

I have been staying at this hotel for three weeks every year for the past 12 years. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would like to give a special mention to Henry. I have known Henry for 12 years now, and he is always super friendly and nice, no matter how busy he is. He is always willing to help, is extremely helpful, and always stops for a quick conversation. This makes you feel very welcome. Last year, I paid $4,987.90 for a 21-day stay. This year, 21 days would have cost me $12,212.08. That is a price increase of 145%. The services offered have not improved. I can understand that costs have risen, but 145% is a lot. It's a shame, but I can no longer book this hotel at this price. I wish the staff all the best.

Located right near bars/restaurants/beach/stores. No car necessary. Pool on rooftop. Very clean. Friendly. Breakfast available. Small Bar inside. A little History about this hotel. Google it’s quite interesting. I would stay again!!!! Check in is exactly 3. Valet available. Traffic!! Drive carefully.

My overall experience at this hotel was disappointing. The staff was not very helpful or welcoming, and the service throughout my stay did not meet expectations. Because of that, the hotel itself did not contribute much to making my trip enjoyable. The one bright spot during my stay was the bartender, Sebastian. He was extremely pleasant, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Without me even asking, he shared great recommendations and pointed out some amazing spots to check out in Miami. His positive attitude and kindness truly made a difference and ended up being the main reason I still managed to have a good time. While I appreciated that one standout experience, the hotel as a whole has a lot of room for improvement when it comes to customer service.

This hotel was small and older but VERY clean and beautiful. There is a resort fee but that gets you access to the beach, provided beach towels to use, 2 drinks at the bar that you’d otherwise have to pay for. Totally worth it. Or TV didn’t work and try got maintenance to our room promptly. The stage was very friendly. We were able to store our luggage in their room in the lobby until check in. The pillows were comfy. The sheets were lighter which was nice since Miami is warm. The beach was a block away. There are a ton of restaurants nearby and lots of shopping. We will definitely book again if we are in Miami.

Stayed this summer. The location is perfect! Five minutes from the beach or two if you use the back door. The rooms are clean, but not soundproof. The staff the best people ever. I loved the pool, but was not happy with the limited options for breakfast. However they had a nice backyard where you can dine and watch parrots, lizards and enjoy the fresh air. Overall a great value for money and we will definitely come back.

Such a cool hotel! Super clean!!!!The decor is done well. The staff is some of the most helpful and friendly people I've encountered at any hotel or restaurant. Luis at the front desk was super helpful getting us in a room. The hotel was sold out the night before and we showed up way early because we had to disembark a cruise ship. I wish the lobby was a little bigger to hang out in but there are so many places in South Beach that are really close it wasn't a big deal. The location is 2 blocks from the beach and Ocean drive and the hotel has towels you can borrow. The front desk even offered disposable ponchos when we went for a walk because rain was impending. The room was good size for South Beach hotels.
